Compensation

Starting Rate of pay: $33.36/hour

Shifts

3rd shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra

Job Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety as the top concern, ensuring all safety protocols, policies, and procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in automated systems, identify faulty components, and repair or replace them efficiently.
  • Understand and modify PLC logic to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes.
  • Understand and modify Robot programs to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes.
  • Identify and resolve issues with electrical wiring, sensors, actuators, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
  • Implement new automation technologies, software updates, and hardware upgrades to improve system functionality.
  • Monitor system performance metrics, identify trends, and generate reports to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment using automation or an associate degree in Automation and Robotics.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical degree or equivalent to 2+ years of formal technical training required.
  • Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, with 2+ years of experience working with industrial automation components such as robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC control logic.
  • Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving complex system issues in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze technical issues and implement solutions with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving efficiency.
  • Blueprint & schematic reading: ability to interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals with 2+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in CMMS software, MS Office, and industrial automation software for documentation and troubleshooting.
