Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national and international presence spanning coast to coast, including U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with field operations' team members working on location for each project. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction, primarily focusing on the Department of Defense market.

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Electrical Self-Perform team for construction projects based in Pensacola, Florida.

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes. Work involves the technical application of electrical principles, using appropriate equipment and safety practices to support RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Pay: $26.00 - 30.00 per hour

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred, supplemented by completion of a Union, private, military, or trade school apprenticeship program that includes theory and on-the-job training.
• Four or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work experience as a journey-level wireman in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience is preferred.
• Experience with start-up and energizing procedures of equipment.
• Fire alarm system/security system installation experience.
• Valid electrician's license or journeyman card is preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications are required. Additional preferred training includes trenching and shoring, fall protection, confined space, forklift/manlift, power actuated tools, lockout/tagout, and EM-385.
• Experience with Medium Voltage Duct Bank and Underground Utility works.
• Ability to provide necessary tools such as knives, pliers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, saws, hammers, levels, voltage meters, tool belts, and power tools.
