Night Auditor

We’re looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. The Night Auditor checks in guests, handles their requests and takes reservations. The Night Auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices and prepares paychecks. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

MUST be able to work the Night Audit shift, which is from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Audit, post and balance daily cashier's work for outlets
  • Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists
  • Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check in/out
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
  • Attend appropriate training courses, when required
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
  • Follow company brand standards
  • Assist with overall cleanliness of hotel public spaces
  • The focus will always be to work on behalf of our Guests and fellow Team Members.

Skills

  • Previous hotel/night audit experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest
  • Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
