Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Job Summary

Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company, comprising Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. The Security team plays a key role in venue safety and guest services during our concert and commencement season. Security screens guests, monitors venue access, and ensures a fun and safe concert environment by upholding venue policies. Event shifts are typically in the evening; some events occur during the day. Evening availability is required.

What This Role Will Do

• Represent Live Nation to all venue visitors, including business partners and artists, in a professional way
• Adapt to the security needs of diverse artists, changing schedules, and tours of varying sizes
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises
• As needed, write reports of daily activities and irregularities (e.g., equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, unusual occurrences)
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Maintain a fun, friendly, and safe environment; uphold venue policies and escalate concerns to appropriate management
• Operate walkthrough metal detectors and hand wands to screen individuals and check bags
• Greet guests, answer questions, and assist with navigating the venue
• Memorize and implement training methods and standard operating procedures
• Warn individuals of code-of-conduct infractions and, when necessary, remove violators professionally

What This Person Will Bring

• Be at least 18 years or older
• Must have valid NYS Security License
• Acute judgment, tact and diplomacy
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Physical requirements: extended standing, bending, stooping, reaching; may lift up to 50 lbs with proper technique
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays in all types of weather
• Commit to at least 70 percent of shows
• Tolerance of loud noises
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures
• Professional appearance and judgment within policy
• Strong verbal and written communication; strong team collaboration
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is $16.00 USD - $20.00 USD hourly. Pay is based on factors including location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
