Sprague is seeking a Truck Driver to join the Lawrence Operations team to deliver petroleum products to our customers via heavy commercial vehicle in the tri-state area (NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey).
Responsibilities
- Delivering petroleum products from location to location via heavy commercial vehicle
- Loading petroleum products onto the vehicle (may involve climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle, and moving oil chutes)
- Off loading petroleum products at customer locations (may require same skills as mentioned above and/or carrying/pulling a hose)
- Reconciling truck shipping and loading documents including DOT documents (i.e., timesheets and pre-trip inspection sheets)
Qualifications
- CDL A with Hazmat Endorsement required
- Ability to pass DOT physical exam
- 5 years' experience driving/delivering petroleum products
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 - 365 day a year operation that includes day and night shifts
- Ability to sit for 30 minutes to upwards of 2 hours while driving
- Ability to stand for 30 minutes to 1 hour while unloading vehicle
- Ability to walk to and from the vehicle (50 to 300 feet at one time)
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay range: $34.39 to $37.75 per hour based on experience.
