Verizon Retail Sales Associate (full-time) role focused on growth, customer engagement, and sales success in a retail store environment. Opportunities to develop skills, earn by performance, and advance within the company.
What you’ll be doing
- Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
- Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
- Position product insights and recommendations to provide customers with a complete solution.
- Close sales by communicating effectively to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
- Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
- Grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
- Engage with the community outside of the store (off-site Verizon sponsored events) to expand the customer base.
We’re hiring immediately. Compensation includes base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour plus potential annual commissions up to $16,000 based on performance, with top performers earning additional commissions. Compensation varies by geography, hours, and performance.

What we’re looking for
You’ll need to have:
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule four weeks in advance)
- Openness to take additional shifts during peak seasons
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Experience in a commission-based environment
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
- Customer service experience
