Nashville Public Radio is hiring: Content Producer/Graphic Designer in New York

Overview

The Ukrainian Museum seeks a part-time Content Producer/Graphic Designer to support aspects of its social media, marketing, and in-house graphic design. Reporting to the Director, the Content Producer is an integral part of the Ukrainian Museum team. The Content Producer manages the museums marketing initiatives, designs graphics for both digital and printed content, and oversees the museum website. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a good problem solver and team player, proactive in continuing to develop the museums visual identity and outreach, and will thrive in a high-intensity position.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Social Media, Newsletter & Website

• Strategize, curate, and design social media posts on all platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
• Curate and design bi-monthly newsletter content
• Maintain museum website content (WordPress)
• Collaborate with museum staff to communicate updates from all departments to target audiences

• Additional Graphics & Tasks

• Create graphics for gallery wall text, art labels, and other miscellaneous printed content
• Research local vendors to produce printed materials
• Photograph museum shop inventory and assist with Shopify online store maintenance

REQUIRED

• Bachelors degree in graphic design or related field
• Knowledge of Ukrainian Language
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong skills in both spoken and written communication
• Experience in marketing, graphic and web design
• Photography skills a plus
• Proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and WordPress
• 1-3 years of work experience in a graphic design or marketing position
