Overview

Senior Graphic Artist from Codinix Technologies, located in Trenton, NJ (Downtown area), United States. This contract position is open to candidates who have a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing and engaging graphic designs for various mediums, including print, digital, and motion graphics.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and execute design projects.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other design software to create high-quality designs.
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all design projects.
• Provide art direction and guidance to junior graphic artists as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Graphic Artist or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across different mediums.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing software is a plus.
• Knowledge of color theory, layout design principles, and typography.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Skills

• JavaScript: Proficient in JavaScript for interactive design elements.
• Production design: Experience in designing for production processes such as printing or sign manufacturing.
• Illustration: Strong illustration skills to create custom graphics and artwork.
• Layout design: Ability to create visually appealing layouts for various mediums.
• Art direction: Experience providing art direction and guidance to other designers or creative team members.
• Adobe Creative Suite: Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite software for graphic design projects.
• Motion graphics: Experience creating animated graphics or videos using motion graphics software.

• Job Type: Contract
• Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
• Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday
• Work Location: In person
