Position

Talent Acquisition and Staffing Manager Facilitating Growth and Development by Bridging Businesses with Exceptional Talent.

Our client is seeking a Human Resource Manager with HRBP and Generalist experience who can bring a hands-on approach to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Support corporate leaders and their teams by building solid work relationships and providing human resources counsel and advice.
  • Ensure appropriate labor planning, including initiating requisition approvals, screening resumes, interviewing, and ensuring management involvement in the selection process and offer approvals.
  • Ensure all new hires receive a proper introduction to the company, their location, and their job during their first 90 days.
  • Manage the objective setting and performance review process throughout the year to ensure that all associates receive objectives and performance feedback; support the annual performance appraisal and talent management processes through effective communications and follow-up with leaders.
  • Manage special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicate and coordinate requirements, expedite fulfillment; evaluate milestone accomplishments; evaluate optional courses of action; adjust direction as needed.
  • Interact seamlessly with peers in HR and cross-functionally; coordinate decisions and communications across multiple stakeholders within the plant.
  • Provide information and reports on data such as staff turnover and costs; use technology to aggregate and analyze data to make fact-based decisions.
  • Assist in payroll and benefits administration to ensure timely and accurate pay and benefits; manage various LOAs including STD, FMLA, etc.
  • Manage employee relations matters with skill and discretion.
  • Support rollout of HR initiatives and communications (open enrollment, incentives, compensation strategy, policy/procedure changes).
  • Model the Core Values and Code of Conduct; coach and communicate the same across client group and HR team.
  • Intermittent travel is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience (more experience required if no undergraduate degree). Preferred HR experience with corporate functions and senior leaders.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory, legal, and statutory rules governing employment and labor law.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent skills and a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in challenging assumptions and the status quo when appropriate.
  • High energy level and ability to marshal resources to accomplish projects, tasks, and change initiatives.
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and support multiple clients.
  • High degree of professionalism, presence, discretion, and integrity.
  • Base salary listed: $120,000 - $145,000 (commensurate with experience).
