THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION.
Direct daily refrigeration maintenance responsibilities.
Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, assigning work priorities.
Oversee repairs of refrigeration equipment and ammonia systems.
Ensure regulatory compliance related to hazmat, PSM, HACCP, health & safety, environmental standards and equipment operations.
Develop and enhance maintenance teams predictive & preventative maintenance knowledge.
Prevent and control operational downtime.
All other relevant duties to the job.
Ammonia System Certification preferred.
3+ years supervisory and/or leadership experience required.
5+ years experience and training in anhydrous ammonia and freon refrigeration systems required, preferrable within a poultry manufacturing facility.
Knowledge of high and low electrical troubleshooting and repair, blue prints and electrical schematics.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent technology and computer skills.
