Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: ~2.5 months Start Date: 10/13/2025 Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Job Summary The Receiving Forklift Operator is responsible for the efficient handling of inbound and outbound materials, ensuring accuracy in shipping, receiving, routing, and documentation processes. The role involves direct operation of forklifts and material handling equipment and demands strict compliance with safety and quality procedures. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials. Enter material receipts into the Materials Management software system. Notify management of any discrepancies in shipping documentation. Prepare documentation and materials for outbound shipments. Manage the Returned Goods process per SOP guidelines. Stage stock for internal departments and ensure proper rotation based on expiration. Identify and escalate short-dated materials (under 30 days shelf life). Participate in cycle counts and full physical inventories. Comply with applicable policies including OSHA, CLIA, and internal protocols. Recommend and support process improvements. Assist in order picking, packing, delivery, and record management. Support internal and external mail distribution processes. Operate forklifts and powered lift equipment as needed. Required Experience Minimum 6 months in materials management. Forklift experience is essential.
