Job Title: Material Handler Forklift
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Material Handler who will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials using a stand-up hi-lo forklift. The role requires working within a cooler/freezer environment, maintaining temperatures between 34-38 degrees Fahrenheit. The successful candidate will be involved in moving various materials such as pallets and bins, as well as loading and unloading semi-trailers.
Responsibilities
Operate a stand-up hi-lo forklift to move materials efficiently.
Handle materials such as pallets and bins, ensuring precise movement and placement.
Load and unload materials from semi-trailers with attention to detail.
Maintain a high standard of attendance and punctuality.
Essential Skills
Proven experience operating stand-up hi-lo forklifts.
Strong material handling abilities.
Commitment to maintaining a consistent attendance record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bi-lingual capabilities are a plus.
Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is beneficial.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
