Warehouse/Truck Driver

About the Role Safely operate company truck to transport elevator equipment, tools, and materials between warehouse, job sites, and vendor locations. Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely delivery and pickup of materials per dispatch or supervisor instructions. Load and unload materials with care to prevent damage. Secure cargo following DOT regulations and company policies. Verify delivery contents with packing slips, job numbers, and delivery tickets. Coordinate with field technicians and project managers to deliver necessary parts and tools to job sites. Assist in moving heavy equipment or materials at job locations as needed. Provide documentation or signatures required for delivery verification. Communicate any delivery issues or delays promptly to supervisor. Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory such as elevator components, tools, and supplies. Maintain organized and labeled storage areas for easy access and tracking. Prepare outbound shipments and ensure proper packaging and labeling. Track inventory levels and notify supervisor of low stock or reordering needs. Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on delivery vehicle. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Keep vehicle and warehouse areas clean and in compliance with safety standards. Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, inventory movements, and vehicle logs. Follow all safety protocols and use proper PPE in warehouse and jobsite environments. Ensure adherence to DOT regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards. Complete any required safety or compliance training.
