Job Description Summary The Specialist Enterprise Architecture will support technology for WFG (World Financial Group) and focus on designing and developing modern architectures to enable a data-driven digital business. Define data strategies, grow capabilities, and develop the enterprise data platform by providing technology leadership, insights on new developments within the architecture space, and guidance in architectural and design decisions. Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert and lead development programs and projects. Work collaboratively with other architects, data scientists, analytics teams, and business product owners in an agile environment. Architect, build, and support the operation of Cloud and On-Premises enterprise data infrastructure and tools. Design robust, reusable, and scalable data-driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks to automate ingestion, processing, and delivery of structured and unstructured batch and real-time streaming data. Lead the development of data APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications. Lead the selection and integration of data-related tools, frameworks, and applications required to expand platform capabilities. Recommend and implement best practices for enterprise data management, including master data, reference data, metadata, data quality, and lineage. Stay updated with the latest advances in the field and rapidly grasp new technologies to support environment and project deliverables. May manage/coach staff.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, math, engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience. Six years of experience in architecture, enterprise roadmaps, analytics, cloud, IT strategies, innovation, SAFE, TOGAF, and data integration concepts. Four years of experience architecting, building, and administering complex architectures and technologies, including real-time streaming analytics in on-premises and cloud environments. Expertise in SQL for data profiling, analysis, and extraction. Familiarity with data science techniques and frameworks. Three years of experience in: (1) architecting, building, and administering large-scale distributed applications; (2) Linux operations and shell scripting; (3) containerized applications with orchestration frameworks; (4) DevOps methodologies and CI/CD. Strong skills in delivery management, results orientation, customer focus, and leadership communication. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills. Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree. Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, data visualization, big data, and real-time streaming architectures. Experience with data lakes, ETL development, and programming languages such as Java, Python, Scala, Node.js, SQL. Knowledge of open API specifications, REST, security, and cloud platform certifications (AWS, Microsoft). Experience with Generative AI, especially AWS and Microsoft LLMs. Financial services industry experience is a plus.

Working Conditions: Office presence required in Philadelphia, PA; Denver, CO; or Cedar Rapids, IA. Moderate travel expected.

#LI-BD1 Compensation: The salary range for this position is generally $170,000 - $190,000 annually. Actual starting pay depends on qualifications, experience, location, and operational needs. The role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance. This description is not a contract and may be modified at the company's discretion.
