Our Engineering team plays an important part in delivering that promise by ensuring every space feels well cared for. The Painter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of the property through high-quality painting and surface repair. This role also supports general maintenance needs and contributes to a safe, comfortable environment for our guests. Responsibilities include: Painting and refinishing surfaces throughout the property Repairing drywall, tile, and other finishes as needed Assisting with light troubleshooting in electrical and plumbing systems Supporting guest-room preventative maintenance to ensure comfort and safety Collaborate with the Engineering team and assist with shift coverage when needed Qualifications: 3 years of painting, drywall repairs, and wallpaper background required Previous hotel engineering experience preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks Flexible availability, including overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service Primary Location: US-UT-Salt Lake City Organization: Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City Pay Basis: Hourly Job Level: Full-time Job: Engineering/Facility Maintenance Req ID: SAL001277 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
