Performs any combination of the following tasks: installing and securing steel rods, tying, spacing, and anchoring these rods, such as erecting and securing structures, walls, dams. Day or Night Shift Essential Job Accountabilities

Ties pieces of rebar using wire and pliers Ties reinforcing bars in-place horizontally for paving or floors, or vertical for columns and walls. Uses paint to mark reinforcing bars for cutting or tying. Carries single or multiple reinforcing bars in 10, 20 or 40-feet lengths alone or as part of a lifting team. Be able to lift, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, couch, crawl and reach to perform everyday job task. Be able to work in constant change in weather and site conditions. Maintains equipment and tools to ensure long lasting use. Education

Workers should be able to: Follow specific directions Perform a variety of duties which may often change Work within standards of accuracy Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure Evaluate information using measurable standards. Physically, workers must be able to: Stand or walk for long periods Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects Frequently lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects and carry tools and equipment Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and see (naturally or with correction).
