Chiropractic Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Chiropractic Assistant to join our small dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our chiropractic office, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and administrative support. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others. Duties: Assist with patient intake and ensure accurate completion of medical records. Schedule appointments and manage the medical scheduling system effectively. Maintain patient files, including care plans and medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide administrative support to the chiropractor and massage therapist, including handling phone calls and responding to patient inquiries. Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and scheduling tasks. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care and follow-up appointments. Educate patients on treatment plans and office procedures as needed. Ensure the chiropractic office is organized and welcoming for patients. Requirements: Previous experience in a medical office or as a medical receptionist is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Medicare processes and medical billing practices is advantageous. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of conduct. A compassionate approach towards patient care and a commitment to providing quality service.
