Position Description
Join our dedicated team as a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder! We are looking for the right candidate to drive for us and ensure successful operations.
Imagine earning $1800 or more per week!
Drivers are paid weekly.
Solo Miles Pay: $0.72 per mile with an average of 2200 miles per week.
Solo Stops Pay: $30.00 per stop, typically 3 - 4 stops per week.
Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per layover, with an average of 4 nights per week.
Hotel accommodations provided by Ryder.
Consistent Schedule: Sunday to Friday.
Flexible Start Time: Early AM or PM based on your route.

Deliver SOLO to: TX, FL, TN, AL, CO.
Route: Regional with weekly home time.
Tractor Type: Day Cab.
Trailer Type: Dry Van, 53'.
Equipment: Pallet Jack.
On-the-job training provided for success with all necessary equipment.
Freight: Light Touch—simply push pallets to the end of the trailer.

Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Pass a drug test and background check.
Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
Hold a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
Minimum driving experience required:
9 months experience within the past 3 years,
OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years,
OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years. Ability to follow directions and interpret regulations. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. Identify and mitigate safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs. Assist in loading/unloading freight as required. Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
