TRAVEL RN – Labor & Delivery

Local Radius Rule: No candidates within 50 miles

Assignment Details NBO: 8 hours

Multipliers: 1.25%

Call Pay: $3/hour

Charge/Preceptor Pay: $3/hour

RTO: Any time-off requests post-acceptance may not be accommodated

Unit Overview & Responsibilities The RN will provide comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge, including pre- and post-procedure care. Candidates must demonstrate clinical competence in all aspects of care management and the nursing process:

Assessment and identification of patient needs

Development and implementation of care plans

Ongoing evaluation and adjustment of care

High-Risk OB Services Provided The Speare OB Unit is equipped to manage complex, high-risk pregnancies, including but not limited to:

Preterm labor

Hypertension in pregnancy

Gestational and pre-existing diabetes

VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean)

Prenatal diagnostic testing

Amniocentesis

Childbirth education programs

✅ Candidate Requirements Proficiency and experience required across all phases of OB patient care — from check-in through discharge

Must be adaptable, autonomous, and confident managing high-risk OB scenarios
