Pay: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour, dependent on relevant experience.
Summary:
As a phlebotomist, you will collect and process blood specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and quality in all procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
- Label, process, and deliver specimens for testing.
- Maintain supplies and equipment to ensure readiness.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, which may include clerical duties, lab processing, point-of-care testing, and more.
- Exhibit critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid through the first 60 days of employment.
