Job Description
We’re hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator with experience in asphalt paving. In this role, you’ll operate a variety of heavy machinery to lay and compact asphalt, including pavers, rollers, skid steers, and excavators. You'll work closely with our paving crew, site supervisors, and truck drivers to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality project completion.
Responsibilities:

Operate heavy machinery including pavers, rollers, skid steers, and excavators

Lay and compact asphalt safely and efficiently

Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to ensure proper timing and asphalt placement

Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance

Identify and report mechanical issues or job site hazards

Follow all safety guidelines and project instructions
Requirements:

Previous experience operating heavy equipment (asphalt experience )

Proficient with pavers, rollers, backhoes, skid steers, and excavators

Basic mechanical skills for routine checks and minor repairs

Strong understanding of job site safety practices

Reliable transportation and punctuality

Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
