This role requires a strong focus on operational oversight, including managing multiple plant locations, P&L centers, and ensuring high standards of service, quality, and safety. The successful candidate will also be tasked with performance management, team leadership, compliance, and risk management, as well as customer and stakeholder engagement. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with a preference for those with a background in the paper or recycling industry. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in P&L management, talent management, and a solid understanding of financial statements and budgeting processes.
