The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its mission-driven team. The COO will be responsible for the organization's operational and programmatic functions, ensuring operational excellence across all programs, services, and national relief efforts. This pivotal leadership role involves strategic and operational oversight, program management, financial management, team leadership, and external stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit management, operational strategy, and large-scale event coordination, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and the ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior operational leadership role, a deep understanding of nonprofit program management, and a strong background in volunteer coordination. The COO will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to design and implement processes that enable the organization to efficiently scale, deliver impact, and maintain financial sustainability. Key qualifications include experience in managing annual operation budgets of $5 million or more, a proven track record in leading large-scale, mission-driven programs, and the ability to secure significant funding from various stakeholders.
