Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Bank's financials. Primary responsibilities include monitoring the reconciliation and accrual process, preparation and review of internal financial and reviewing general ledger activity. Assist the internal and external audit functions through preparation of requested schedules, preparing analysis and obtaining requested documentation. Assist the Accounting & Finance leadership with development and implementation of Accounting Policy throughout the Bank. The Accounting Manager will also act as a key leader within Accounting and Finance, providing guidance and support to those both in and outside the department.

Key Responsibilities: · Ensure compliance with Bank Accounting policy, Regulatory Accounting guidance, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Keep current with changes to Accounting Principles and assist the Controller with implementation of new or revised standards. · Perform monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are being maintained. · Ensure timely and accurate recording of entries to the Bank's general ledger. · Preparation of supporting documentation or reports for the monthly close process. · Prepare ad hoc analysis as requested by Bank Leadership.

Competencies Required: · Demonstrate leadership qualities, mentoring ability, project leadership and delegation, follow-through, team participation and self-management. · Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. · Strong technical and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including SQL Server Management Studio. · Excellent leadership and relationship management skills; ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and achieve results through the effort of others. · Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics. · Excellent planning and organizational skills, with an ability to establish a strategic direction and subsequently develop and manage supporting initiatives. · Strong overall business acumen with an ability to understand the direction, priorities, and goals of the organization. · Strategic and problem-solving mindset with developed analytical, process and project management skills. · Credibility, ethical, full disclosure and clean financial history. · Strong GAAP and financial reporting technical skills. · Knowledge of COSO Controls framework

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: § 5 years' experience managing accounting and finance processes required. § Experience in banking or financial services is strongly preferred. § External audit experience preferred.

Formal Education & Certification: · Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting · CPA is preferred. · Master's Degree is considered a plus. · Public Accounting experience preferred

Work Status: · Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility: · Provide leadership to a team of 2 or more employees, focused on performance and individual development, development of performance driven metrics, and clear operational management reports.

Travel: · Up to 10% travel possible.

Working Conditions: · Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
