Overview of the Role:
The Electrician Team Leader is responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical systems and supervising less experienced electricians while training apprentices. This key role ensures that all work meets high standards and complies with safety requirements.
- Night Shift: 6pm-6am, 2-2-3 schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, inspect, and modify electrical equipment, technologies, and processes.
- Lead projects and serve as the contact point for contractors, as assigned by the maintenance manager.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance on electrical circuits.
- Install new electrical circuits and bend/install conduit according to local and national codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, and control equipment.
- Assist production staff in resolving electrical-related production issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and a safe working environment.
- Understand and comply with NEC electrical standards and codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings accurately.
- Fill in for the maintenance manager as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Follow safety protocols by halting unsafe acts and addressing hazards.
- Support and promote safety policies and programs.

Qualifications Required:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Coursework in the Electrical trade.
- Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
Experience:
- At least four (4) years in the electrical trade.
- Experience in reading electrical prints and troubleshooting circuits.
- Experience with three-phase motors, transformers, and control circuits required.
Licensure:
- State Master's Electrician or Journeyman's Electrician license required.
Skills:
- Effective communication skills with all levels of personnel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changes.
- Proficient in basic math, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and algebra.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret instructions and resolve complex issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
- Professional demeanor to maintain constructive relationships.
