Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in a perinatal setting requiring BLS, ACLS, NRP, and a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities Work in a perinatal unit with 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, 5 postpartum/WHS rooms, and 2 NICU beds Night shift position with 12-hour shifts Every other weekend schedule required Caseload averages 80-90 births per month May be required to float to Mother Baby unit Charting uses Centricity with medication documentation in Paragon Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards No on-call responsibilities No floating to other units and no charge responsibilities Unit team does not assign charge duties to travelers Supportive perinatal and mother-baby team structure No requirement to float outside of perinatal and mother-baby units
Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required Previous labor and delivery experience is required Familiarity with Centricity and Paragon charting systems is preferred
