Job Title: Radiation Therapy Technologist (725A) – Northside Cancer Center

Location: Northside Radiation Oncology, 1000 Johnson Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA 30342

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Travel Requirement: No local candidates within 50 miles

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapy Technologist to join the Northside Cancer Center team. The ideal candidate will have experience in radiation therapy and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced oncology environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and accurate radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment according to protocols and safety standards.
  • Perform daily QA checks on treatment machines and patient setup.
  • Document treatment delivery and patient progress accurately in medical records.
  • Collaborate closely with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.

Holiday Coverage:

  • Must work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day.
  • Must work 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
