Overview
BCS Finance is partnering with a mid-size multi-site manufacturer near Roswell, GA that is looking for an Operational CFO to join its team. This role will oversee Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Risk, and HR. The CFO is a key partner to the CEO and leadership team, driving financial integrity, operational excellence, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CFO in a private company, but this role is also open to first-time CFOs. This is a full-time on-site position. Qualified candidates should be local or willing to relocate to the area. Key Responsibilities
Lead a corporate accounting team and coordinate with divisional accounting teams across multiple locations. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; providing actionable insights to the CEO. Build, mentor, and lead the accounting and finance team. Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and Board on financial strategy, capital allocation, and risk management. Oversee corporate payroll, cash flow, investments, and lines of credit. Manage corporate insurance programs and ensure compliance with all policies. Coordinate annual audits and provide timely financial reporting. Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings, working with external advisors as needed. Provide financial reporting and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). Strong experience in corporate finance, treasury, audits, tax compliance, and cost accounting. Multi-site experience in manufacturing, construction, or related industries preferred. Proven ability to lead both direct reports and geographically distributed teams.
