Overview
TPI Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Design Verification Engineer for a 12-month contract opportunity with our client, a world-class leader in the semiconductor industry. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role on a team responsible for delivering industry-leading IP. You will collaborate with RTL, firmware, circuit, and architecture experts to develop cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated engineer with a passion for modern, complex processor architecture and a strong background in ASIC verification. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a robust verification environment using SystemVerilog and UVM. Create comprehensive directed and random verification tests to ensure functional correctness. Debug test failures to identify the root cause, working closely with design and firmware engineers to resolve defects. Drive and analyze functional and code coverage metrics to ensure thorough verification. Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand new features and develop corresponding verification plans. Must-Have Qualifications
Expert-level proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM for building and maintaining complex testbenches. Strong programming skills in C/C++. Direct experience in the verification of DDR or Memory Controllers. Proven ability to debug complex issues in both RTL and firmware. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PHY verification. A solid understanding of embedded firmware development. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl. Seniority level
