The University of New Mexico Department of Neurology seeks a board certified, or board eligible Neurologist to join our Multiple Sclerosis/ Neuroimmunology team. The MS faculty will be part of a care team that manages MS, NMO, and other neuroimmune disorders in the outpatient clinic. We have a robust clinical trials program and are currently enrolling in several cutting-edge clinical trials for MS drugs. Protected time for participation in clinical trials is offered to interested faculty, and we have a full-time study coordinator support. Time is also available to do independent research in neuroimaging, immunology, epidemiology, genetics or other areas of interest. The University of New Mexico is the only Academic Medical Center in the state that is associated with a Medical School. The Department of Neurology has 35 full-time and part-time attending physicians and is home to a well-established Residency and several Fellowship programs. About Albuquerque, New Mexico:
Albuquerque, NM is a beautiful city with the 10,000 ft Sandia Mountains to the east and mesa desert to the west. The beautiful high desert environment provides more than 310 days of sunshine and the variety of all four seasons.
