Identity & Access Management Director

What you’ll do

Shape and execute the enterprise IAM strategy, aligning with broader cybersecurity and business objectives.

Lead the deployment and lifecycle management of IAM platforms and services, including SSO, MFA, PAM, IGA, and directory services.

Establish and enforce IAM governance, including access reviews, RBAC, policy frameworks, and regulatory compliance (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

Drive Zero Trust and cloud IAM transformation, integrating modern identity architectures across AWS, Azure, and SaaS ecosystems.

Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, HR, compliance, and business stakeholders to streamline identity workflows and improve user experience.

Oversee IAM risk assessments, audits, and incident response, ensuring alignment with internal controls and external standards.

Mentor and lead a team of IAM engineers and analysts, while managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.

Deliver executive-level reporting on IAM performance, maturity, and risk posture through KPIs and dashboards.

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in IAM leadership roles within complex enterprise environments.

Deep expertise in IAM technologies and protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, AD, Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, etc.

Proven experience with cloud-native IAM in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and audit processes.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CIAM are a plus.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Familiarity with DevSecOps, automation, and identity federation in hybrid environments.

Compensation & Benefits Compensation range:

$180,000 – $220,000 annually. This base range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary by role, level, and location. Total compensation may include salary, bonus or commissions, and equity awards.
