Assistant Store Manager - Simsbury, CT (Simsbury). This role leads a store team to achieve service, sales, and operational objectives, delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales and advice, and a personalized customer experience. The position may lead the store with minimal direction and make day-to-day decisions on teller/platform activities. Responsibilities

Leads a team of advice and service colleagues to achieve individual and store objectives, delivering legendary customer and colleague experience and meeting performance goals. Provides day-to-day team leadership and direction to ensure effective delivery of personalized/complex service and advice while maintaining compliance and regulatory guidelines. Leads complex sales/advisory activities involving multiple steps, systems, partners, and complexity. Applies knowledge of financial concepts and a broad range of products/services to deliver end-to-end customer advice aligned with TD\'s consultative approach (build trust with educational content, provide consultative support, and offer proactive insights). Drives and reinforces advisory activities through coaching, oversight, and communication to ensure proactive product recommendations based on customer needs, especially for more complex banking requirements. Maintains knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support effective advice. Handles critical/high-risk issues and determines appropriate resolutions. Coaches the advisory team on advice-giving strategies and product/service acumen; establishes work direction to meet daily/quarterly/annual objectives. Delivers end-to-end financial management information and tools to help customers achieve their goals, providing real-time insights. Identifies opportunities and referrals to support business growth; participates in community events and promotes the TD brand. Manages lead generation activities (self-generated leads, partner/retail referrals, outbound calls, appointments) and prioritizes leads. Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Demonstrated ability to provide legendary customer service Strong verbal and written communication skills Sales and operational management skills Ability to manage competing priorities Previous consumer and residential lending experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of banking products and services preferred Demonstrated organization, interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills Notary license (Preferred); must maintain active NMLS registration upon hire Customer Accountabilities

Fosters a warm, engaging environment; actively listens and asks clarifying questions Supports business objectives by proactively attracting, acquiring, and retaining customers and referrals Supports collaboration between frontline colleagues and platform bankers/partners for effective referrals Leads customer service activities; assists customers through challenging times with financial product knowledge Maintains optimal scheduling to meet customer demand and compliance requirements Acts as escalation point for problem resolution and preventive education Creates personalized customer experiences by understanding individual needs Supports the Bank\'s Customer Service Strategy and considers impact on TD, customers, and stakeholders Upholds professional, inviting spaces in all common areas of the store and ensures compliance with policies/regulations Shareholder Accountabilities

Leads and drives operational compliance of all store operations, including teller and platform operations Oversees day-to-day processes/transactions/activities and ensures quality of work Ensures store efficiency by adhering to policies and passing audits; may perform daily store operations Develops/leads operational excellence initiatives; vault management and audits Identifies and mitigates risk; conducts compliance and policy adherence checks Ensures accurate documentation reflecting customer/business intents in line with regulations Supports process improvement and due diligence for customer transactions Adheres to the Bank Code of Conduct Employee/Team Accountabilities
