The North Carolina Executive Director (ED) leads the market’s business operations and serves as the link between the field and Aledade Centralized support teams, focusing on ACO-specific business operations. EDs partner with Regional and Senior Medical Directors to align clinical initiatives with savings goals and provide the business case and direction for field team practice interactions.
Responsibilities
Work with Senior Leadership to set the strategic direction for the North Carolina market. Be responsible for business development and relationship management at the market level. Provide support and direction to Market Manager(s) and Practice Transformation Specialist(s) in North Carolina. Assume financial accountability for the market with a heavier focus on operational excellence. Strategy — Set and achieve annual savings and quality targets for contracts and practices, in alignment with current year Revenue Performance Priorities and in conjunction with the VPs and Directors of Provider Networks teams as applicable. Regional Growth & Development — Collaborate with Central Growth and the local field team to identify and establish partnerships with new physician practices; establish connections with key regional and local partner organizations (e.g., health systems, specialists, ancillary groups, post-acute providers) to achieve targets. ACO Leadership and Operations — Manage ACO Profit & Loss and interface between ACO operations teams and Aledade Centralized Support teams to maximize financial returns. Lead local and/or multi-state ACO Boards. Serve as liaison between the ACO Board and Aledade Centralized Support teams. EDs without a Market Manager would be responsible for a higher percentage of this work. Professional Development of Direct Reports — Support the professional development goals of direct reports, guiding their aspirations to align with company goals and OKRs. Proactively develop succession planning goals and pathways to ensure a smooth transition for future market EDs. Minimum Qualifications
Resident of the state of North Carolina 10+ years of related experience as a client-facing project lead in healthcare (e.g., health plan, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturer, government, pharmacy chain, management consulting) with a proven track record in building and maintaining customer relationships and communicating with senior management. 7+ years of management experience 3+ years of Value Based Care experience Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or other advanced degrees in health services research, health policy, healthcare administration, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or other relevant fields. Physical Requirements
