The Program in Healthcare Administration at Texas Woman’s University, a multi-campus university system, invites applications for three faculty and administrative positions to support program expansion in their Master of Healthcare Administration Program. Teaching responsibilities may include online or hybrid course formats. The Healthcare Administration program offered on the TWU Houston and Dallas campuses has approximately 415 graduate students and has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) since 1995. The program is housed in the Merrilee Alexander Kick College of Business and Entrepreneurship, which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB – International).
The Program Director position (#11943) and an Assistant Professor position (#11788) are available at the TWU Institute of Health Sciences campus in Houston, located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. The Associate Program Director (#11963) is available at the T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences campus in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Both locations offer easy access to major art, culture and entertainment options. Full time appointments will begin in August 2026. Successful applicants will have a core focus in health care management and will teach at the graduate level based on expertise and the needs of the Program. Salary is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications for Program Director and Assistant Professor, TWU Houston:
A Doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration or related field, with sufficient qualifications to merit appointment within the Healthcare Administration program is required for the Program Director and Assistant Professor tenure track positions. Expertise desired in various areas are detailed in the specific job postings. These include expertise in the areas of Healthcare Finance, Healthcare Quality, Health Informatics, Health Services, Health Biostatistics, Healthcare Operations, Health Economics and Health Policy. Applicants should also have evidence of a scholarship agenda focused in an area of specialty in health care or closely related field. Preference given for applicants with a record of professional success in the health care industry in addition to minimum educational qualifications and the ability to develop relationships with local and regional healthcare organizations. Master’s level degree in Healthcare or related fields or an MBA and significant experience and accomplishments in healthcare settings is required for the Associate Director position.
