Overview
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian General Dentist at Naval Station Great Lakes in Waukegan, Illinois, on the North Shore of Chicago. This contract position offers: Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm with no evening, weekend, or holiday responsibilities. The General Dentistry clinic has support from dental hygienists and dental assistants. Responsibilities
Provide general dentistry services in a civilian capacity at Naval Station Great Lakes. Collaborate with dental hygienists and dental assistants to deliver patient care. Maintain professional standards and comply with all applicable licensing and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
A doctorate in dentistry from an accredited dental school approved by the Council on Dental Education of the ADA. Experience as a General Dentist of at least 12 months within the preceding 36 months; newly graduated dentists will also be considered. Have completed at least 12 classroom hours of continuing dental education within the preceding 24 months to maintain General Dentist skills and knowledge. Current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands; must comply with all applicable state licensing regulations.
