Northwell Health is recruiting a
full-time Director of Outpatient Psychiatry
to lead the Behavioral Health Hospitalist team at
Staten Island University Hospital . The ideal candidate should be energetic, innovative and enjoy working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Staten Island University Hospital’s Department of Behavioral Health Sciences
provides comprehensive psychiatric care in a private, patient-centered environment. With over 1,450 discharges per year, it is considered to be one of the most active comprehensive mental health centers on Staten Island.
Our 35-bed inpatient unit provides short-term hospital care to evaluate and stabilize patients with acute psychiatric disorders. There is a strong focus on returning patients to normal functioning as soon as possible while rebuilding self-esteem and improving socialization.
