This is a full-time hybrid role (30 hours of patient facing time a week + admin hours) for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting telehealth and in person consultations, diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, prescribing medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Daily tasks include patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, providing brief psychotherapy, and monitoring patient progress. The role also includes educating patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatments. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the care team. Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychiatric medications, including ordering and interpreting appropriate labs and diagnostic tests. Provide psychoeducation and supportive counseling as needed. Coordinate care with other providers, therapists, primary care physicians, and community resources as appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development. Adhere to all applicable federal and state laws, professional ethics, and practice standards. Qualifications
Master\'s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry / Mental Health. Current and unrestricted New Hampshire RN and APRN licenses and willing to be licensed in Massachusetts if hired (prefer boarded in both!) Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). DEA registration and active prescriptive authority in New Hampshire and willing to obtain DEA in Massachusetts. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EMR systems. Willingness to be in person once a week in our Nashua, NH location.
