We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in engineering product development processes and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CAD and PLM efficiencies and automation, along with a passion for standards, attention to detail, and consistent design/documentation methods. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams and managing non-technical projects to successful completion—on time and within budget. Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement across all elements of engineering development and release processes Develop evaluation methods to identify process strengths and areas for improvement Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of requirements and functionality Create, present, and maintain comprehensive process documentation Develop and deliver effective training materials Present project plans to senior leadership, secure buy-in, and deliver results Manage cross-functional teams with diverse talents and responsibilities Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience (or equivalent) Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization and deriving business insights Solid understanding of PLM and ERP systems Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Deep knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles, processes, and methodologies Proficient in Excel; experience with tools such as VBA, SQL, JMP, Qlik, Access, QuickBase, SAP, or Matlab is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills Proven leadership abilities with strong influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
Mechanical Engineering background Experience with Model Based Definition, including creating on-model annotations for sheet metal, machined parts, weldments, and large assemblies 5+ years of 3D modeling experience using NX 10 or newer Exposure to Product Configuration Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Field Service, Logistics/Spares, and "Copy Exactly!" practices Equal Opportunity
