This position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements. IPT/Segment Level role, works with Configuration Management team at Program/System level to implement the program\'s Configuration Management strategy within the IPT Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures Lead and oversee configuration identification, control, auditing, status accounting, and verification processes Ensure that configuration control is applied to complex engineering changes within the project lifecycle Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality assurance to plan and manage product baselines and documentation Conduct configuration audits to verify conformance to requirements and facilitate the resolution of discrepancies Provide expert guidance and support on configuration management best practices to project teams Maintain configuration management databases and tools, ensuring the integrity and security of configuration data Lead training and mentoring initiatives of other configuration analysts Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management and programs Engage daily with programs on matters of configuration and change management, conduct and lead Configuration Control Boards Qualifications
Basic Qualifications for Principal Configuration Control Systems Engineer Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with at least 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master’s Degree; or 1 year with PhD Understanding and experience with configuration management standards and practices (e.g., ISO, ANSI, CMII) Proficient in using configuration management software tools and systems Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams U.S. citizenship required Current active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and a polygraph prior to start Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Configuration Control Systems Engineer Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with at least 8 years of experience; 6 years with Master’s Degree; or 4 years with PhD Understanding and experience with configuration management standards and practices (e.g., ISO, ANSI, CMII) Proficient in using configuration management software tools and systems Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams U.S. citizenship required Current active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and a polygraph prior to start Preferred Qualifications for Principal / Senior Principal Configuration Control Systems Engineer
Current active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Experience in Teamcenter, CPLM PLM tool, Enovia, Windchill, and/or Costpoint or similar tools Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII-P, CMC) Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A and/or EIA-649B/EIA-649-1 Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 requirements, standards, and compliance issues Salary
Primary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00 Salary ranges are general guidelines and may reflect factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available; long-term incentives may apply for VP/Director roles The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the posting date.
