As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan. Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and implement activity programs tailored to resident needs and interests Coordinate with the care team to integrate activities with the resident care plan Foster a supportive and engaging environment for residents Maintain accurate activity calendars and documentation Engage residents in social and recreational programs within a health care setting Model a professional image in appearance and behavior Qualifications
A passion for working with seniors A flexible, fun, and energetic personality Certification as an Activities Director preferred Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area; should be licensed or registered nationally or by the practicing state Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, including one full year in a resident activities program in a health care setting Professional image in appearance and behavior Excellent written and oral communication skills Why Tutera is the Employer of Choice
