Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Isaiah House, Inc. Faith-Based Nonprofit | Substance Use Disorder Treatment & Recovery Location: Central KY Reports To: Board of Directors Status: Full-Time | Exempt. POSITION SUMMARY

Isaiah House is seeking a visionary, servant-hearted, and operationally strong Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization in alignment with its Christ-centered mission: “To provide holistic healing for individuals and families affected by addiction.” The CEO is responsible for strategic leadership, daily oversight of operations and fiscal health while ensuring that Isaiah House remains a beacon of recovery and restoration across Kentucky. This role is in partnership with the Board of Directors, staff, and community stakeholders to ensure sustainability, growth, and impact. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required (master's preferred), ideally in Business, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Theology, or related field. Minimum 7 years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health. Experience working with or reporting to a Board of Directors. Active and demonstrable Christian faith, with alignment to the mission and values of Isaiah House. Strong financial, operational, and fundraising acumen. Working knowledge of SUD treatment systems, Medicaid, MCOs, FQHCs, 340b, CARF/AODE/NARR/OIG, and grant compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONAL BREAKDOWN

Strategic & Organizational Leadership (30%)

Champion Isaiah House’s mission and vision with clarity and passion. Drive strategic planning efforts with measurable outcomes. Lead executive staff (COO, CFO, etc.) and set performance expectations. Cultivate a culture of excellence, transparency, and Christ-like compassion.

Fundraising, Partnerships, & Financial Oversight (25%)

Lead fundraising strategy through donor engagement and partnerships. Ensure financial stability and stewardship of a multi-million-dollar budget. Maintain relationships with key funders, foundations, and donors.

Board Engagement & Governance (10%)

Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and staff. Communicate with the Board and ensure policy, legal and fiduciary compliance. Support committee work and board development.

Staff Development & Operational Management (20%)

Directly supervise and mentor executive leadership team. Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and efficient systems. Oversee organizational structure.

Community Engagement & External Relations (15%)

Represent Isaiah House in public events, media, and legislative forums. Strengthen relationships with churches, recovery networks, healthcare providers, and government agencies. Work to position Isaiah House as a statewide and national leader in faith-based recovery.

Visionary leadership. Executive-level communication and presentation skills. Strong strategic thinker with operational follow-through. Crisis management and changing leadership abilities. Data-informed decision-making and performance orientation. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Frequent travel between Isaiah House campuses and partner organizations. Public speaking engagements required. A hybrid work model may be available but must be highly visible to staff and the community. Estimate of one day from home per week on average. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Adherence to all Isaiah House policies and faith-based guidelines. Participation in leadership devotions, in-services, and spiritual enrichment activities. Valid driver’s license. TO APPLY
