Staff EW RF Integration and Test Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff EW RF Integration and Test Engineer to join our Maritime/Land Systems & Sensors (MLSS) organization. The successful candidate will support the integration and verification of the most advanced EW system ever deployed on a Naval platform. What You’ll Get To Do As the Staff EW RF Integration and Test Engineer for RF sensors, you will work on some of the most advanced systems in the U.S. arsenal. Responsibilities include: Develop and execute detailed RF test plans, setups, and procedures to assess system performance in complex and dynamic multiple RF emitter environments. Design and conduct controlled experiments for hardware-in-loop and software-in-loop test bench setups to reproduce and troubleshoot results from remote integration facilities. Coordinate RF data collection and analysis across a Subsystem Integration Lab (SSIL), System Integration Lab (SIL), and remote integration facilities. Troubleshoot RF test setups, test equipment, and operational issues utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Document test results and prepare comprehensive test status reports. Mentor junior engineers by sharing expertise and fostering development to cultivate future leaders in the field. Present analysis results to senior leaders and customers, effectively communicating the impact of your work. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, master's degree with 10 years of experience or Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields. U.S Citizenship is required. A current / active DoD Secret Clearance. 5 years of experience designing and executing RF integration and test activities for Electronic Warfare (EW) or Radar systems. 3 years of experience collecting and analyzing RF test data on EW or Radar systems. 2 years of experience with Command and Control and timing synchronization of test equipment. 1 year of experience developing and presenting compelling reports that summarize analytical findings. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineer, or Mathematics or other related technical fields. A current / active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher. Experience with on-site integration of systems and customer coordination. Experience with I/Q data collection equipment. Experience with the integration and test of mature technologies in low-rate production. Experience developing or using tools used to analyze Radio Frequency (RF) data at the I/Q level.
