UC San Diego Health The role involves providing protective services to assigned locations, patients, visitors, and staff. The successful candidate will patrol UCSD Health Sciences premises on foot or in a vehicle to protect life and property, manage disruptive persons professionally, control access to restricted and security-sensitive areas, and respond to fire/security alarm activations. Minimum Qualifications: California Guard Registration. Must hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program. Two (2) years of security or security related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. BART and IAHSS certified within six (6) months of hire date. Skills, knowledge, and ability essential to successfully perform the duties assigned to the position. Ability to adhere to dress code at all times. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Preferred Qualifications: One (1+) or more years of experience in hospital security. Special Conditions: Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical. Must be willing to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Pay Transparency Act:
Annual Full Pay Range: $50,446 - $62,744 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hours and Location:
