Overview
Network Engineer III with Security Clearance role at Integral Federal, Inc.
The Network Engineer III serves as the Senior Network Engineer Level II for the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network which provides the IT environment for 100% of the DLIFLC teaching and instructing for all students, staff, faculty, and guests in a learning environment at the unclassified level.
Responsibilities
Wired and wireless network performance monitoring, network optimization, testing, IT project management, and implementation of network security controls.
Advanced troubleshooting and analysis of all elements of the network infrastructure.
Qualifications
BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years of experience or an AA/AS with 7+ years of experience with any one of the following: IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.
5 years of progressive experience in computer system/network engineering, including 2 years of specialized experience related to the tasks.
CCNA or CCNP or equivalent computing environment certification; 7 years of additional experience may be used as a substitute for certification.
Advanced knowledge/experience with Palo Alto Networks firewall policy and content management, PAN-OS management and threat monitoring and detection; wireless network deployment and management.
Experience with HPE Aruba Wireless Networking architecture or similar (e.g., Extreme Networks or Cisco); strong policy management, troubleshooting, and upgrading of network access control systems.
Experience with Aruba ClearPass or similar NAC system (e.g., Cisco ISE).
Security clearance: Secret.
Salary Salary Range: $135,000 - $147,000. The above salary range represents a general guideline. Base pay offers consider factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses may apply.
