Overview

Cybersecurity Architect at Booz Allen, supporting program management of a suite of cybersecurity tools, delivering a Zero Trust Architecture roadmap, and developing an Enterprise Integration Strategy for Modernization, AI, and ML capabilities. Lead the team through network design, offering alternatives and customizing solutions to balance security and mission needs. This role provides opportunities to expand expertise in Zero Trust Architecture, AI/ML-informed response, automation and orchestration of security events, and Cloud-based security, while supporting critical infrastructure security. Responsibilities

Support program management of cybersecurity tools and initiatives. Develop and implement a Zero Trust Architecture roadmap. Create an Enterprise Integration Strategy for modernization and AI/ML capabilities. Coordinate with in-house teams, subcontractors, and industry partners to translate customer IT needs into actionable plans. Lead design discussions for secure network solutions and provide alternatives that balance security with mission requirements. Assist customers in integrating secure practices such as SIEM, SOAR, CI, and CD, endpoint security management, and advanced analytics. Qualifications

Knowledge of best practice cybersecurity and threat-based frameworks and current trends. Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework. Ability to create system architectural diagrams. Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam. Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of IT project experience (or Master’s with 3+ years, or 9+ years in lieu of a degree). DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification. IASAE Level I Certification. Ability to obtain DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification (e.g., CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND) prior to start date. Nice If You Have

Experience with data classification standards and handling of classified data in U.S. government environments. Experience defining security requirements, assessments, and recommendations using industry standards. Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, frameworks, and implementation strategies. Knowledge of Agile, ITSM, DevSecOps, and change management processes. Knowledge of IaC/CaC, CI/CD, AI/ML, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle concepts. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Forrester Zero Trust Certification. Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation

Base pay range: $86,800.00/yr - $198,000.00/yr.
