Information Analyst with Security Clearance

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a full-time Information Analyst at the Pentagon, Washington, DC. This position provides Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to support the organizations within HQ USSF, including but not limited to the CSO, COO, CHCO, S6, CSRO, and the Director of Staff. Responsibilities and qualifications below describe the role, requirements, and expectations for this position. Responsibilities

Support Space Force designated Security Control Assessor and evaluate proposed systems to operate on Space Force and other networks. Review and validate security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms). Conduct assessments of information systems to ensure compliance with security policies, frameworks, and standards such as RMF, NIST guidelines, or DoD regulations. Collaborate with system owners, ISSOs, ISSMs, and other stakeholders to address security concerns and ensure compliance. Evaluate, assess, and make recommendations to address DoD and IC RMF and ATO policies and requirements at multiple classification levels (up to TS/SCI) for pilot efforts related to digital capabilities, digital infrastructure, and software applications. Support Security and Operations (DevSecOps), AI/ML algorithms, and other digital services, identifying alternative risk management strategies while pursuing advanced capabilities. Interface with Department of the Air Force organizations, as needed, to advise and assist on cyber and infrastructure needs (in-person meetings at Langley-Eustis as required). Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in analysis of program information system schemes or equivalent. Strategic knowledge of the processes within DAF to formulate and execute technology-related projects. Ability to travel frequently or work remotely as necessary. TS/SCI Security Clearance. Desired experience/qualifications

Zero Trust: Security Architecture & Engineering; design and implement micro-segmentation, IAM, least privilege, continuous monitoring; familiarity with NIST 800-207 and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture. Network Security: Network segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, network behavior analysis; knowledge of SDN and NFV for dynamic policy enforcement. Identity & Access Management: MFA, SSO, RBAC, PAM; experience with identity federation and directory services. Data Security: Data encryption, DLP, data classification; knowledge of data governance and compliance for space systems. Cross-Domain Solutions: Systems integration across security domains; CDS and guard technologies; MLS networks and data diodes; secure data transfer protocols. USSF Cyber Resiliency: Threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and related security measures for space systems. General skills

Strong understanding of space systems, operations, and architectures. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and threats. Strong work ethic and commitment to national security. Benefits
