DevOps Engineer role at

Work with the engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. Deploy and debug cloud stacks, coordinate with teams on cloud initiatives, and ensure the security of cloud infrastructure. Administer AWS services, manage user access/security/release/schedules, and maintain the Cloud AWS environment. Manage cloud-based infrastructure (IaC) and services using automation to ensure smooth application integration. Implement and administer a CI/CD pipeline for all systems, software, services, and infrastructure. Use quality and security gates to manage CI/CD decision points from start to finish. Troubleshoot identity management and authentication issues and provide resolutions. Ensure smooth operation through patching, monitoring, alerting, and real-time remediation. Serve as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric setting. Research, design, and prototype new solutions to facilitate growth and customer experience. Identify tooling weaknesses and liaise with development and operations teams to drive architecture improvements. Arm developers with tools to ensure system uptime and performance. Support daily operational incidents, change, and problem management as part of an integrated agile team. Provide on-call production support, documentation, and operations plans including monitoring/alerting solutions. Follows industry/agency standards for cloud configurations, architecture, and security. Requirements
Two (2) years of professional experience in a related role. Experience with government contracts or government employment; direct experience with the Department of State is a plus. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance; reside in the United States. Experience administering and securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS). Experience using GitLab and CI/CD platforms for rapid, safe releases. Knowledge of cloud components such as DevOps scripts, S3 access management, and application configuration. Knowledge of tools such as Redis, Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, and Docker. Strong ability to investigate and resolve AWS cloud issues and related problems, with impact analysis. Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence. Strong documentation and problem-solving skills; good verbal and written communication. Ability to identify and create detailed requirements and bridge legacy development/operations teams toward a shared culture and vision. Working Environment
