TSP is engaged in a direct hire search for one of our clients. Our customer is a leading global biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapies to address high unmet medical needs and improve the lives of patients. This request is for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Neurology. This is a field-based position and may be filled at a senior level depending on the candidate’s experience. Responsibilities
Facilitate scientific exchange within the healthcare community as a medical science liaison dedicated to neurology. Act as a therapeutic and scientific expert on neurology topics, with emphasis on clinical relevance to multiple sclerosis (MS) and related immunology considerations. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Collaborate with internal teams to support clinical research and patient care initiatives as needed. Qualifications
Doctoral degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD). Prior experience in neurology-related field required; preference for pharmaceutical industry experience in multiple sclerosis. Immunology experience is a plus. 2+ years of experience as an MSL or in Medical Affairs strongly preferred. Experience in clinical research and/or direct patient care is ideal. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated adaptability in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel (75%) and easy access to a major metropolitan airport. Compensation
Anticipated salary range: $170,000 - $215,000. EEO
