RSAC
Overview
RSAC is the premier series of global events and year-round learning for the cybersecurity community. RSAC convenes the security industry to discuss current and future concerns, access experts, unbiased content, and ideas to enhance cybersecurity posture. The conference is evolving from an annual event into a year-round community platform for the global cybersecurity workforce. We are seeking an FP&A Manager with investment banking rigor and growth-stage operating experience. You’ll own core corporate FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, reporting) and drive strategic initiatives (long-range planning, pricing/packaging). Ideal candidates have worked in technology startups and can partner cross-functionally and communicate insights at the board level. What You’ll Do
Lead the annual operating plan and long-range plan, tying strategy to financial outcomes and unit economics. Develop scenario models (base/upside/downside) to evaluate growth bets, hiring plans, and capital efficiency. Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations to assess pricing/packaging, market expansion, and ROI of growth initiatives. Build/own board and investor materials (KPIs, narrative, cohort/retention, efficiency metrics). Own the monthly forecast and variance analysis (P&L, cash flow, key drivers); explain the “why,” not just the “what.” Include risk and opportunity assessments. Stand up scalable budgeting processes, drive accountability with budget owners across Marketing, R&D, and G&A. Design and maintain driver-based models for revenue, headcount, COGS, and opex; translate strategy into targets and guardrails. Build automated KPI metrics (e.g., ARR/MRR, logo & net retention, CAC/LTV, payback, pipeline coverage, gross margin, R&D/GTM efficiency). Partner with Accounting on close and management reporting; ensure clean actuals, accruals, and cut-offs. Support procurement reviews; improve unit economics and cash runway. What You’ve Done
Owned complex financial models and business cases; fluent in cohort analysis, funnel/pipeline modeling, and SaaS or tech-enabled services metrics. Proven cross-functional partner who influences senior management with clear data-driven recommendations. Experience preparing board materials and investor-grade analyses as well as strong communication skills to influence C-Suite decision making. What You’ll Bring
BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other quantitative discipline. 5–8 years total experience (ideally a mix of investment banking and operating FP&A at a startup or growth-stage technology company). Experience with revenue operations or sales finance; pricing strategy; international expansion preferred. CPA/CFA/MBA helpful but not required.
