Harmonia is building a small, senior team to harden and modernize enterprise Windows/AD infrastructure for a major federal mission. You’ll own core Windows/AD services, automation, and change operations; messaging/Exchange expertise is a strong plus and will be leveraged (or developed) as we improve availability and hybrid posture. What you’ll do Own Windows Server/AD services (GPO, DNS/DHCP, OU design, patching, monitoring) across production enclaves. Automate at scale with PowerShell; document runbooks and change procedures; participate in change windows/on-call. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues end-to-end (networking/TLS/certs/identity). Contribute to Exchange 2016/2019 operations (DAG health checks, CU planning, hybrid touchpoints) in partnership with a messaging SME. Required Qualifications Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field – or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of Windows Server administration and 4+ years of administering Active Directory in production. Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and certificate/TLS management. Proven PowerShell for administration/automation. Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 and/or 2019 is preferred, but later version experience is acceptable. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work 100% onsite in Washington, DC; U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-have) Top Secret with SCI (active or crossover-eligible). Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 exposure: performance monitoring, CU/patch participation, upgrade planning, and advanced troubleshooting (mail flow, client connectivity, database/index health). Hybrid/M365 touchpoints: HCW, OAuth/Modern Auth, MRS/MRSProxy, and EOP/Defender hygiene. Experience with load balancers (F5/NetScaler), PKI/certificate lifecycle, and enterprise monitoring (SCOM/M365 health sets). Azure background; Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104/AZ-305) preferred. Prior work in federal or classified environments (STIG/RMF/NIST).
